The students worked together in a team effort to complete the brick backdrop with the graffiti for the school play “Rock of Ages”, then started on 80s and 90s album covers. During week nine, students completed their album covers for the North High School play "Rock of Ages", presented March 16th through the 18th. The students had a month prior to develop the backdrop and art that went along with the play. In addition to providing a teamwork opportunity within the class, this exercise engaged the students in a partnership with the theatre department as part of the larger school community.

 

During this lesson, teamwork was a central part in making the environment for the play by isolating essential strengths and skills that each student possessed. As I observed, certain students took charge guiding others in a leadership role. This will aid students in identifying where each individual fits in society whether it is taking a lead position or being a team player. Each member of the team plays a vital part in attaining a successful outcome. By executing these designed tasks demonstrate the specifics within the TQS III Element E characteristics.
