PLEIN AIR PAINTINGS

I greatly enjoy Plein Air painting because it brings together two of my great passions: the great outdoors and painting. When painting outside, you need to be able to mix colors quickly and accurately due to the constant and rapid changing of light. Another thing I like about Plein Air painting is the fact that it promotes continuous growth in color mixing skills while encouraging artists to embrace speed painting technique that lies within all painters. These practices push my skills to new heights and also inspires me to see the beauty of what life has to offer.
